CONSULTING

Working with entrepreneurs, motivated professionals, and high ranking executives, Holos House, LLC offers more than just coaching and training on leadership, teamwork, and communication. Specifically, we recognize that all the pieces of an organization must be understood in order for coaching or training to be effective. We call it our

3 "P's" : product, process, people.

Importantly, when guiding others to grow professionally, the context of that guidance must consider the product and process that constitutes our clients' environments. Our questions to clients help them grow and encourage more productive behavior, but only when those questions also recognize the limits of the client's environment.  Additionally, our business experience helps clients find legitimate answers to business problems, that in turn opens the door for professional, behavioral, and mental growth.

CONSIDER THIS EXAMPLE

A young man asked for individual coaching in managing his new department, long term planning. He had just been promoted from senior analyst in the department, and fully understood the department's mission. However, he now had to fill the empty leadership position, and work with senior management in developing the next 4 year plan. The manager he replaced had extraordinary rapport and credibility with senior management. He needed his first steps to be firm, steady, and right.

In coaching this client, Oswald understood well the sensitivity of the product and deliverables for which he was responsible. She also recognized the plan process would likely require modification to accommodate the personality and skill sets of her client vs. his prior boss. Her goal was to coach him through the challenges he faced, while preserving his perception as a capable and talented professional. As part of her coaching, Oswald insisted on interviewing the senior management group regarding their expectations of her client. Happily, the interviews served to increase senior management's sensitivity to the overall situation, setting more realistic expectations for the short term. The interviews also provided key input to the young man. In net, the young manager proved very successful in his new position.

ANOTHER THOUGHT

Just imagine how "REAL WORLD" business experience adds value to the coaching or leadership/teamwork/communication training of:

  • A highly competitive staff in a brand marketing department
  • The addition of young staff to a seasoned sales team
  • High turnover of unskilled labor in a retail store
  • Future executives in a nationally known healthcare organization
  • Employees facing reorganization of their company or department

Here at Holos House, LLC we've been there and done that. We offer guidance that matters and works!
